A summary of the primary health, welfare and financial savings programs available to newly hired employees is shown below. The specific benefits an employee is eligible for varies by location and employee group.
Additional information about these programs, an employee’s share of the cost, and applicable benefit coverage waiting periods is provided once an applicant is hired.*
DexYP offers a choice of medical plan options that provide comprehensive coverage for preventive care, doctor visits, hospital care and prescription drugs. Employees and DexYP share the cost of medical coverage.
DexYP offers a choice of dental plan options that cover preventive, basic and major dental procedures. Some dental plan options also cover orthodontic services. Employees and DexYP share the cost of this coverage.
DexYP’s vision plan covers eye exams, and glasses or contacts, and offers discounts on other vision-related services such as LASIK. Employees pay the full cost of this coverage.
Health Savings Accounts
When enrolled in the company’s consumer-driven High Deductible Health Plan, employees can make pre-tax contributions to a health savings account to help pay for qualified health care expenses now or in the future, even if the individual is no longer working at DexYP.
Flexible Spending Accounts
DexYP makes available Health Care and Dependent Day Care flexible spending accounts that help employees save tax dollars on eligible expenses.
401(k) Savings Plan
DexYP offers a 401(k) savings plan with a wide range of investment options. The company matches a portion of an employee’s contributions to this plan. Employee contributions may be made on a pre-tax, after-tax and/or Roth 401(k) basis.
Short Term Disability
DexYP’s short term disability program provides temporary, partial income replacement when a qualifying illness or injury occurs. Employees are automatically enrolled in this program when eligible. DexYP pays the full cost of this coverage.
Long Term Disability (LTD)
The LTD program provides additional income protection when an employee is unable to work for an extended length of time due to a medically approved disabling condition. The company pays the full cost of this coverage.
DexYP provides life insurance coverage equal to one times an employee’s eligible pay. Employees can also purchase supplemental life coverage on themselves and/or their eligible dependents.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
DexYP provides AD&D insurance coverage equal to one times an employee’s eligible pay. Employees can also buy supplemental AD&D coverage on themselves and their eligible dependents.
Business-Travel Accident Insurance
Employees are automatically provided business-travel accident coverage. This coverage provides additional protection when travelling on DexYP business.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Employees may receive confidential and personal counseling assistance to help deal with challenges that can affect health, relationships or job effectiveness through DexYP’s EAP. The EAP is also there to assist employees with legal and financial challenges, work/life services, adoption assistance and tobacco cessation. DexYP pays the cost of EAP coverage.
DexYP’s time off programs include holidays, vacation and personal days. In addition, DexYP is closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
To help employees with work and life balance, DexYP offers alternative work arrangements, depending on the position, so that employees can attend to personal needs such as health, hobbies, family and interests outside of work.
Employees also have access to a discount program with over 100 discounts available.
